By 19 BBY, the pilot was stationed on Kamino. The pilot, alongside the whole station was put on high alert, as there was a renegade clone on the loose. Shortly thereafter, the pilot told ARC trooper Fives that all pods were remain on ground due to the renegade clone, Fives then distracted the pilot then knocking him down. Then he was placed near some crates before stealing his pod.
