Swift was a clone trooper sergeant who served under Mace Windu and Commander Ponds in the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps. He led a squadron of AT-RTs during a raid on the Tambor Deep Space Centre, but was killed when hidden blaster turrets eliminated his entire unit.[3]

History[]

Sometime during the Clone Wars Swift was trained in riding an AT-RT. He was made a sergeant and put in charge of a squadron.[3]

In 22 or 21 BBY,[note 1] Swift accompanied Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu on an attack against the Tambor Deep Space Centre, a Separatist warship repair workshop. Under instruction from Commander Cody, Swift led his squadron of walkers on an offensive against the enemy security forces.

He planned to assault the central bunker with thermal detonators, but hidden blaster turrets were remotely activated and began firing on his troops. Resolute, Swift ordered his men to continue the attack. Under heavy fire, however, they were unable to advance further and the whole squadron was killed.[3]

Armor and Equipment[]

Swift wore Phase I clone trooper armor customized in red, denoting his service in the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps. He utilized a All Terrain Recon Transport in battle and was trained in thermal detonators.[3]

Personality and Traits[]

Being a sergeant, Swift demonstrated adept leadership ability. During the battle on the space center, he showed resound determination and did not retreat when faced with unexpected forces. His battle-hardened attitude and courage ultimately costed him his life.[3]
