c. 32 BBY
Kite, like all Jango Fett clones, was trained on Kamino and was Fett's exact height and appearance. Kite was assigned to Jedi General Ares Nune during the height of the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, Kite and Nune were assigned to hunt down General Grevious' new super weapon. They took three Venator-class cruisers, including the Laudable.
While on patrol, the task force's initial sweeps reported no enemy activity, and Nune ordered another sweep of the surrounding area to be sure. While the secondary sweeps were underway, Kite and Nune were both on the bridge of the Laudable, and the two began to discuss the mission.
Though contrary to the Laudable's scan, the super weapon, aka the Malevolence, was hiding in the area. When the cruiser came in view of the Republic ships, General Grevious ordered the droids to fire the energy cannon. The energy disabled the ships, including shields and weapons. The Malevolence fired their blaster cannons and destroyed the three ships, including the Laudable. This resulted in the death of Kite, Nune and the crews of the three vessels.
Kite and Nune would later be avenged by Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Plo Koon, and Shadow Squadron, as they damaged the vehicle beyond repair. Skywalker would later re-route the hyperdrive coordinates to a nearby moon. This caused the Malevolence to crash into the planet.
Personality and TraitsEdit
Commander Kite preferred to have his feet on the ground rather than in spaceships. Kite was a very singular-minded soldier, having only read manuscripts relating to combat. Like all Fett clones, he stood 1.83 meters tall, had black hair, and brown eyes. He also exhibited several scars across his face. Like most commanders, he possessed a pauldron and a kama, which held his DC-17 hand blasters.
