Kickback was a clone pilot in Blue Squadron. Having the callsign of Blue Four, he participated in the Battle of Ryloth, and was one the last two surviving pilots of that battle, the other being Swoop.
History[]
In 32 BBY, Kickback was born on the planet of Kamino.[1][2] The pilot went through basic training and pilot training and eventually graduated. Kickback was assigned to Blue Squadron, where he flew as Blue Four.[3]
In 22 BBY, the pilot was deployed to fight at the Battle of Ryloth, where he flew with Blue Squadron, under the command of Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano. She led the squadron out into the battle, however, things went poorly, resulting in the demise of several pilots, including Axe, Slammer and Tucker. By the end of the initial battle, Blue Squadron lost four fifths of their unit, leaving Kickback and Swoop the only survivors of the initial battle.[4]
Once Skywalker devised a plan to take out the blockade and Tano redeployed part of the 501st Legion's naval detachment, it is unknown if Kickback or Swoop went along with.[3]
Armor and Equipment[]
Kickback possessed Phase I armor, with standard piloting equipment. His helmet was stylized with several blue markings. Kickback flew a V-19 Torrent starship. He most likely possessed a DC-17 hand blaster.
