K Company was a clone trooper company that served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. The company served under the command of Hawkbat Battalion.

K Company was created in 32 BBY on the water planet of Kamino when the Grand Army of the Republic was commissioned.[1] The company was placed under the command of Hawkbat Battalion, who served under the respective units of the 101st Regiment, 7th Legion, 327th Star Corps, 2nd Sector Army, and Systems Army Alpha.[2]

In 22 BBY, K Company was deployed in the Clone Wars' first battle, the First Battle of Geonosis,[2] like all active units.[3] The company was deployed to the front line, where a majority of the Hawkbat Battalion was wiped out due to orders sending them in a direct path with a column of spider droids.[2] However, Captain Deviss managed to drag two wounded troopers under his command to safety, holding up in a crater.[2]

While waiting for the Casevac Team, Deviss protected the troopers and held the position for three full hours.[2] This earned him a medal, as well as a promotion to Commander. Deviss, likely alongside the company, would be deployed during several missions during the war, including the Battle of Altyr V and Cato Neimoidia.[2]

In 19 BBY, the company, under Deviss' command, was deployed to the planet of Orto, specifically the Battle of Orto.[4] The K Company was in the middle of the battle when Order 66 was initiated. Deviss and his company opened fire on their commanding Jedi, Jedi General Neem Bees, executing him instantly.[2]

Armor and Equipment[]

The company was equipped with Phase I clone trooper armor during the First Battle of Geonosis, as well as standard weaponry such as DC-15S blaster carbines and DC-15A blaster rifles. Deviss, upon receiving his promotion, would receive a Kama and pauldron which were colored red, as well as DC-17 hand blasters.
