Jango Fett was a well known bounty hunter who was known for being the best in the galaxy. He became the template for the clones that the Republic would use in the Clone Wars. Besides a large pay, he requested an unmodified clone that he could raise as a son, who was Boba Fett. Jango Fett started off as a child to a family of farmers until a war broke out on his home planet. His parents were murdered and he was adopted by the Mandalorians and was taught the Mandalorian customs and fighting techniques.
Up until his death, Jango Fett would assist in the clone training and instructions. He helped design the armor worn by the clones, taking inspiration from his own armor, including the T-shaped visor of their helmets. He also helped out with military training in the new troops.
He was beheaded by the Jedi Master Mace Windu in the Geonosian Arena, where Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala was supposed to be executed. Jango Fett's jetpack malfunctioned in the middle of the battle and instead of dodging Windu's attacks, Fett instead fired his blaster repeatedly, which gave Windu an opportunity to decapitate the bounty hunter.
After his death on Geonosis, Boba buried his father's body and took his helmet and a book Jango wrote for his son on how to live if Jango ever died. Boba followed his father's footsteps and became a bounty hunter, teaming up with his father's old allies. In both Boba Fett and the clones, Jango Fett 's legacy would live on.
