Unidentified Horn Company trooper
Captain Lock and a small number of troops defended the corridor, however, they were forced to fall back when commando droids arrived. Some, however, stayed with General Koth. Although all were slaughtered, save for one, this trooper saved Koth by destroying the commando droid which was going to kill the general. However, he was later electrocuted by a Magnaguard. Half of the company was wiped out, while the remainder fled to escape pods.
The Horn Company was formed in 32 BBY, when the rest of the Grand Army of the Republic was commissioned. The Company was deployed in 22 BBY, and was placed under Jedi General Eeth Koth and Captain Lock.
In 21 BBY, the Horn Company were aboard the Steadfast, a Republic Cruiser, when Separatist forces attacked and boarded the ship. The Company set up defenses against the boarding Separatists. The Company fought the enemy forces, Super Battle Droids and Commando Droids primarily. Lock led the Company in the battle, reporting back to Koth via comlink. Koth ordered him and the remaining members of his Company to retreat.
Lock hesitated before complying and led the remainder of his men to the escape pods on the frigate. Koth, however, remained on the bridge of the Cruiser, with seven troopers and two officers. Once Separatist General Grievous broke through the blast doors, he and his commando droids killed six of the troopers and both officers. Koth destroyed all the droids save for one, which choked him. The final remaining trooper, who had been initially injured, rose up and shot it in the head.
Koth looked at him with a thankful appreciation, before the trooper was electrified by the staff of a Magna-droid. The Magna-droids continued to fight Koth until he was forced to surrender. It is unknown what happened to Lock and the rest of his men.
Armor and EquipmentEdit
The troopers in Horn Company had light green markings on their armor to signify their unit. The unit also utilized DC-15S blaster carbines while in combat. Their armor also bore the mark of a horn of most of the troopers' chest plates.
