Fleet Met was a Republic-aligned service that predicted the weather for planets. It operated on several, if not all planets, in the galaxy. It was known to be used on at least Haurgab and Mandalore.
History
In 19 BBY, Fleet Met was used to predict the weather on Haurgab during a Republic occupation of the planet. During Omega Squad's mission to take out Jolluc, a local rebel leader, they claimed that Fleet Met had predicted sandstorms were coming their way. They were correct, and a sandstorm raged on for around an hour.
