Clone sergeant major was a rank in the Grand Army of the Republic given to certain clone troopers. Their command role was second-in-command of a platoon, and were the highest ranking Non Commissioned Officer rank that a clone could achieve. Their armor had green markings; they served under clone trooper majors. No known clone troopers have this specific rank. The rank would continue after the Grand Army of the Republic was reformed into the Stormtrooper Corps.
