CT-3278 was a clone trooper that served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Following the activation of Contingency Order 66, CT-3278 served in the Imperial Military under the command of Captain Wilco.[3]

CT-3278 was a clone trooper born in 32 BBY on the planet of Kamino.[2] The trooper was assigned to serve within the Grand Army of the Republic in the Clone Wars. Once the war ended, however, CT-3278 joined the newly established Empire and operated within their military forces.[3]

In 19 BBY, CT-3278 was assigned to monitor Serenno, the former homeplanet of Separatist leader Count Dooku, and the extraction of warchest possessed by the Count's estate.[4] While on assignment, rogue unit Clone Force 99 arrived to steal the warchest and exchange it for services rendered. In the process of the assignment, Clone Force 99 managed to stun and disarm CT-8801, which led to their presence being revealed.[4] The unit split up, unintentionally. In doing so, a majority of Captain Wilco's company pursued rogue troopers Wrecker and Hunter on the ground.[4][3] The remainder of the rogue unit - Echo, Tech, and Omega - were aboard the Class four container transport, which they escaped by ejecting the cargo containers.[3]

With the cargo ejected, the company were split in objectives between locating the rogue unit and the missing cargo. CT-3278 and two other troopers were tasked with locating the missing cargo, operating BARC speeders to more effeciently cover ground. The three troopers arrived at one of the cargo containers, the one which contained the war chest, to discover Echo and Omega attempting to loot what they could.[3] The troopers opened fire in an attempt to disrupt their actions. Upon doing so, the two rogue clones utilized the container as cover, while CT-3278 and the two troopers called air support from a LAAT/i.[3] However, Tech, who had injured himself earlier in their operation, limped to assist his comrades. He managed to stun one trooper, while CT-3278 and another began opening fire.[3] The other trooper operated an E-Web and suppressed the foiliage that Tech hid behind, while CT-3278 attempted to ambush him from the other side. Tech managed to overpower the trooper, knocking him to the ground with his DC-17 hand blaster falling out of his hand. The two struggled and eventually Tech managed to stun CT-3278, knocking him unconscious and doing the same to his comrade.[3]

Personality and Traits[]

The trooper was 1.83 meters and possessed brown eyes and black hair, as a part of the Jango Fett genome.[1][4] The trooper was highly obedient to orders due to the activation of the inhibitor chip following the initition of Order 66, with a a majority of his personality being seemingly overridden.

Armor and Equipment[]

The trooper possessed basic Phase II clone trooper armor with no markings and a pure white finish. He wielded a DC-15S blaster carbine and was also proficient in operating a BARC speeder.[3]
