Bren was a clone trooper petty officer that served in the Grand Army of the Republic.
History[]
Bren was born on Kamino in 32 BBY. He received naval training, where he graduated and became a petty officer.
The trooper was assigned to serve on Leveler, under Captain Gilad Pellaeon. After seeing some combat, the ship was sent to the Kemla Yard for a refit. The trooper served on the Leveler at the Battle of JanFathal.[3] The Leveler was deployed above the city, while Torrent Company, alongside a group of Jedi including Generals Djinn Altis, Anakin Skywalker, Castilla Masana and Commander Ahsoka Tano, to the surface, to rescue Republic Intelligence Agent Hallena Davis.[3] They were successful in their mission, but the planet fell to the Separatists shortly thereafter.
Bren and his fellow ship mates helped in the Battle of Merson, where the Republic took devastating casualties. All the Republic forces on the planet, including Jedi General Ronhar Kim, Jedi Commander Tap-Nar-Pal, and Senior Commander Dox, were wiped out, but the Leveler was able to escape.[4]
The Leveler also deployed Omega Squad on Gaftikar to overthrow a Separatist government, which led to a full-scale assault on the capital. Pellaeon deployed several gunships, most likely with the assistance of Bren. Once the 35th Infantry were able to reinforce Omega and Leveler, the Republic took the planet.[5]

- It was never confirmed if Bren was at the Battle of Merson or Gaftikar, but it can be assumed that he was present, as the trooper survived the battle of JanFathal.
