Bravo Squad was the name of a clone trooper unit that helped participate in the Battle of Christophsis.[3] A unit in the 501st Legion, it was under the command of Rex[1] during the Clone Wars.

"Right behind you, sir! They worked out most of my unit. We had to pull out of there!"
"The shield has almost reached the heavy cannons."
"We're not going to be able to stop them, sir."
"Move your troops back to the heavy cannons. Do everything you can to protect them. I'll delay the droids.
Rex and General Kenobi

Under the command of Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Bravo Squad helped participate in the Battle of Christophsis in the year 22 BBY.[4] Seven weeks after the First Battle of Geonosis, this battle was fought between the Jedi and Confederate General Whorm Loathsom. It was in response to a distress call from Senator Bail Organa on Christophsis.[5]

During the battle, Bravo Squad was tasked with preventing CIS forces advancing from the east to approach the Republic's heavy artillery. Alpha Squad, with General Kenobi, was tasked with the west side. Alpha Squad was successful, but Bravo Squad failed and was sent back to guard the heavy cannons. They later succeeded in stopping the Separatists and the Confederates were defeated.[2]

Armor and Equipment[]

Bravo Squad used DC-15S blaster carbines and had Phase I armor.[2]

  • Although Bravo Squad was never directly mentioned in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, context clues from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes game and the film can lead to the conclusion that it appeared in the film. Please see "References" section.[1]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 In the game Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, Bravo Squad and Alpha Squad (led by Kenobi) are both sent to stop Separatist forces from advancing. It is then stated that Alpha Squad succeeded, but Bravo Squad did not. In the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, Captain Rex messaged Kenobi, informing him that his unit did not succeed in stopping the forces. Kenobi messaged back, claiming his unit did, and that Rex's unit should fall back. It can be concluded that Rex's unit was Bravo Squad in the 501st.
