Bogey 9662 was a clone scout trooper that served in the Grand Army of the Republic.
History[]
Bogey 9662 was one of the many clone troopers of Jango Fett. The trooper was sent to one of the final battles of the war; the Battle of Kashyyyk.[4] He was under the command of Jedi Generals Luminara Unduli, Quinlan Vos, and Yoda. The trooper and his squad survived the Battle of Kashyyyk. Soon after the Battle, Chancellor Sheev Palpatine gave explicit orders to execute Order 66.
The squad injured Unduli,[5][6] but failed to catch Yoda before he escaped the planet.[4] The squad were then tasked to track down Vos and execute him. 9662 and his squadmate, 1212, split off from the group, due to Commander Faie's orders.[5] The trooper and his comrade found Vos, only for 9662 to be hung by a booby trap.[5]
The remainder of Bogey Squad would eventually be killed by Vos, including Faie. However, Faie managed to shoot Vos in the chest, injuring him. Faie did die, despite this, and was burned to fake Vos' death.[5]
