Blue Group was a clone trooper squadron that served in the Grand Army of the Republic's navy.
History[]
Blue Group was created likely around 32 BBY, when the clone troopers were commissioned.[1] The unit went through extensive training and eventually graduated, being deployed in the Clone Wars.
In 20 BBY, the squadron was deployed to the Battle of the Enoth system. The squadron flew under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker's command, alongside the Red Group. The unit was equipped with Z-95 starfighters, similar to Red Group.[2]
The starfighters managed to shoot down the Separatist's Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, which resulted in a Galactic Republic victory.[2]
Armor and Equipment[]
The Blue Group was equipped with Phase II clone trooper armor during their time of the war in 20 BBY. The group also possessed Z-95 starfighters. The unit likely possessed weapons in their cockpits in case of being shot down behind enemy lines, including DC-15S blaster carbines and DC-17 hand blasters.
