Arrow Squadron was a clone trooper squadron that served in the Grand Army of the Republic's navy.

History

Arrow Squadron was a clone trooper unit that served in the Grand Army's Republic Navy, commissioned in 32 BBY, when the clones were created. The squadron was given basic training, as well as naval training, eventually graduated and were assigned to fly V-19 Torrent starfighters during the Clone Wars.

In 21 BBY, the squadron was assigned to a Republic flotilla, stationed aboard the Coruscant Sky, where they were deployed to the Battle of Lanteeb. The pilots in the unit were specifically assigned to deceive the Separatist forces, chasing a Separatist ship, which was piloted by a Jedi General, attempting to infiltrate the planet and sabotage Separatist General Lok Durd's new weapon.

Arrow Squadron would break away, while Gold Squadron harassed the ship. The ruse was successful and the General managed to land of the ground. After fourteen hours of engaging the Separatist fleet, Arrow Squadron lost a quarter of its forces. The battle ended a few hours later, when a corporate fleet put together by Senators Bail Organa and Padme Amidala arrived over the planet, which forced the Separatists to flee the system.

Armor and Equipment

The unit of Arrow Squadron were equipped with Phase I clone trooper armor at the time of their deployment, as well as V-19 Torrent starfighters. They also were likely equipped with a DC-15S blaster carbine or DC-17 hand blaster as a way of defending themselves in case of being shot down behind enemy lines.
