The 181st Armor Division, initially known as the Mid Rim Garrison,[2] was an armored division of clone troopers in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They were easily identified by the green markings on their armor. [1]
The 181st Armor Division utilized infantry, several All-terrain vehicles - such as the All Terrain Recon Transport and All Terrain Tactical Enforcer - and HAVw A6 Juggernauts, which would allow the 181st to have safe transport in harsh environments and reinforce Republic forces in remote locations.[1]
History[]
The 181st Armor Division was formed at the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic. The unit was deployed throughout the Clone Wars, typically alongside Commander Tacks' regiment.[1]
